VACATION!!!
Vacations with just Josh and me are far and few between. BUT Wednesday morning Josh and I are off to New Orleans to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. I don't know if I am more excited to see New Orleans for the first time or just spend time with Josh w/o kids. I love being a mom, but it is SO nice to just be Diana on occasion. Don't you worry I will take pictures and show you all the fun I had :) If there is anywhere we just HAVE to go to, let me know.

Canton, Genreal Conference and my dryer
If you live by Canton, 1st Monday's are an experience. It was fun just walking around looking at all the interesting things people try to sell. A warning to impulse shoppers, you need a plan to stick by or you will come back with all sorts of fun things you never knew you needed. Luckily I am not one of those :)
I am so blessed to be able to be a part of general conference. (by a part of I mean listen to:) I love the spirit I feel when men and women of God are sharing experiences and their testimonies. I love to get revamped on life and challenge myself to be a better mom, wife, sister and friend. I am grateful that I can be an ever changing and growing individual that can one day return to my Heavenly Father. I am thankful for the righteous men that lead the Church and hold the priesthood power.
Last, which I know is a huge jump from the last subject is, our dryer went out. Whoo hoo, and the weekend is my laundry time. I love that life is a never ending event after event of things breaking. ha ha Life is good.

ZOO

The zoo was so much fun! Last Monday we went early in the morning. Almost every animal came up right to the window. Madison's favorite was the baboon because the baby came up to the window, turned around, and shook it's bum bum at us. She thought that was the best thing ever. We even had a gorilla get up and walk up right to the glass. I forget how massive and majestic anaimal are sometimes. It was a good day. I want my kids to develop a love for animals...and what better way than take them to the zoo. We have a season pass, so anyone that wants to go with us sometime, let me know :)

Spring Break
I am one of the lucky few that still get a spring break as an adult :) Since Josh is a teacher, we get to go have a mini vacation. This year we went down to the ranch in Wimberly. It is so peaceful! While down there we climbed enchanted rock (which is awesome!). There were strong winds (30 mph we guessed) pushing us up the rock. The higher up we went the stronger the winds go. Hudson kept getting blown over at the top. After getting to the top we decided to go the "less traveled path" back down, which meant maneuvering and actual climbing at times. Madison loved the challenge! She tried to do it all herself. She got a few scrapes here and there, but loved every minute of it. Hudson was the lucky one that got to ride on daddy back. HA HA I am amazed at how easy my kids make my life. They are so easy going.
The next day we decided to go to Pedernales State Park. (If you haven't been its a fun family adventure) We knew storms were coming, but decided since we were playing in water anyways what is rain going to hurt. So we did a little hike. The kids got to get out and throw rocks into the water and wade in the water. About 20 minutes in, it started pouring. We all giggled for a little bit and decided being on rocks and water wasn't the safest place to be for a lightning storm, so home we went. All in all it was a fun time. I love getting to spend time with my hubby and kiddos. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo. I'll let you know how that goes :)

How it all began
Once upon a time there were two people that were very bad at math... We met in what I like to call retard math (no offence). The college math to get into college math. Josh says it was love at 1st site. I was a little more we will see where this takes us. Well 5 months later we were engaged, 11 months total we were married. The rest is history.
